Voice of Participants

(1) S.P.K. (Korea):
The most impressive aspect of ICGA8 was the large number of young physicists, postdocs and graduate students, and the poster session. In fact, ICGA8 has attracted not only many senior physicists but also junior physicists so that organizers has to hold a poster session for them. Even the poster session was highly qualified in comparison with other international workshops outside the Asia-Pacific rim. I believe that ICGA8 has provided young physicists a good opportunity to explain their research and to learn new physics. The last and most impressive part was the great efforts by Professor Masakatsu Kenmoku to make ICGA8 the most successful one I have ever attended. It was well organized and well prepared in many things. I would like to make use of this room to express my sincere thank to him.

(2) K.S. (Japan):
ICGA8では、たいへんお世話になりました。これまでの国際会議では見られないような奈良女の学生の皆さんの参加者にたいする適切な、テキパキとした対応には，ほんとうに関心いたしました。皆さんがほんとうに会議を成功させるのだという意欲をお持ちだったからでしょう。たいへん気持ちよく参加できました。

(English Translation):
I appreciate you very much on the occasion of the ICGA8 meeting. I am quite impressed that students of Nara Women's University are so kind as to take the appropriate and the speedy management, which I have never experienced in the past international conference. This is because all members of Nara Women's University, including students, have the strong will to make the meeting successful. I enjoy to participate in the meeting.

(3) V.P.F.(Canada):
The Conference was very successful. At each stage of its preparation and during the Conference itself everything was done perfectly. The Organizers succeeded to attract to the Conference many bright scientists from Japan and abroad. As I understand the number of participants of this meeting was much higher than of the previous one. The talks presented at the plenary sessions as well as the poster talks were very interesting. I think that perfect organization of the ICGA8 contribute a lot to the growing of the international scientific reputation of this meetings. I must only add that I was happy to participate in the Conference and to give the invited talk there. I thank Professor Masakatsu Kenmoku and other Organizers for this opportunity.

(4) C-M C. (Taiwan):
The organizer excellently hosted the conference providing a very nice environment for oral presentations, posters and free discussion. I am honored be invited to report my recent work on extremal black holes in Gauss-Bonnet gravity. I received many helpful comments and suggestions on my work. Moreover, I have learned a lot from talks and posters. In particular, this conference gives me a nice chance to discuss with many Japanese young researchers. I can see such kind of interaction will largely improve the possibility of cooperation between Taiwan and Japan.

先日のＩＣＧＡ８では，大変お世話になりました．先生のご尽力ですばらしい会議となりました.また，女性研究者の推進を企画して下さいましてありがとう存じます．この様な機会に発表をさせて頂くことができ大変光栄に思います．また世界でご活躍なさっている女性研究者の方々を知ることができましたことの大変励みとなりました．

(English translation):
I would like to thank Professor M. Kenmoku and other organizers for everything at ICGA8. Thanks to their enormous efforts, the conference went very well. I appreciate that the conference has promoted female scientists. It was a great honour for me to give the talk on the occasion of the promotion. Also, I was encouraged to know, through the conference, that there are a lot of outstanding female scientists in the world.
